Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on the television. Her parents are both Irish and Mexican American. Her birthplace was in Columbus, Ohio, on the 26th of December, 1976. De La Garza moved soon to Texas, where she studied in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for long and shortly after moved in Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of parts as an actor, such as local independent commercials as well as films. Even though she had small parts, De La Garza rapidly realized the passion she had for acting. Then she moved to New York. Her first role was on the soap opera All My Children. During early 2000s she had small roles appearing on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got her first big series part on the short-lived drama The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episode. She then migrated to the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. This particular character has earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she won an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring role. She was Marisol Deko and was also the spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. Her most recent appearance on TV was in the role of Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly darker show Do No Harm. It was pulled after two short episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a younger sister Cory as well as being Italian through origin. Her family was an orthodox and religious family. Milano's career began at age seven, as her babysitter invited her to a talent show. Four girls were chosen from more than a thousand hopefuls. Milano appeared in advertisements on television and off-Broadway as well, such as the American musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
